2016 AMVCA-Let’s go there!

If by now you haven’t received an invitation to this year’s AMVCA (Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards), then you don’t know what’s up. Trust me. I’ve got mine-an exquisite, chic, elaborate piece of innovation to tantalize the undecided. Me? I am decided, and so I’ll be there come Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the EXPO Hall, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

If you want to mingle with the crème de la crème of the movie industry, fashionistas and society bigwigs, then you oughtn’t miss this event. I bet you there will be a lot of drama on the red carpet or whatever colour they choose. Trust me, there will not only be mind-blowing fashion on parade, the proverbial Fashion Police will need more than one Black Maria to take offenders to Ikoyi Prisons. As you know, or don’t you, that women, especially those in the entertainment business, are more daring nowadays. Lord have mercy! 

Thumbs up in advance to my sister and friend, the brainy, beautiful Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, the Regional Director (West Africa) of MNET who, from the much I know of her, will neither sleep nor slumber until she has delivered yet another humdinger this weekend.

If last year’s Awards was good, then this year’s will be something else, because the Wangi I know is forever moving the needle from good to great.
